In 2002, Rosa funded the first Cinema School on Goiás State, called SKÓPOS. In 2010, Rosa created the House of Cinema (Maison du Cinema) as a moviemaking studio, where students could learn and fulfill their dreams on learning about cinema in Goiás. The House already graduated more than 80 new movie makers and vídeo productors in Goiás. Seven (07) short films have already been made by the school students and many productions in Goiânia bear the signature and sponsorship of her school. Many of these movies received prizes in national and local festivals, like Goiânia Mostra Curtas, and also have been exhibited on FICA (International Ambiental Cinema Festival)..

Currently, Rosa Berardo teaches at the University of Goiás (FAV-UFG) at the Faculty of Visual Arts of the Federal University of Goiás. She produces films and teaches courses at the Casa do Cinema, and she has been invited to teach film courses in renowned universities abroad: Université du Québec à Montréal, Canada; Université de Bordeaux 3- France, Ohio University- USA, University of Sinaloa- Mexico, University of Ouarzazate – Morocco, National University of Jujuy – Salta and University of Montreal.
